Made from recycled cement sacks, washed soft and fully lined with undyed cotton, these over‑the‑shoulder bags are durable, lightweight and surprisingly smart. Each colourway carries its own woven jute detailing — a bold red jute stripe on the red bag, and a striped jute strapping on the green version.
Every bag is stitched in Dhaka by women taking part in an inspiring Women’s Empowerment programme, supporting vulnerable women with fair wages, skills training and long‑term economic independence.
Designed for everyday life, they’re roomy enough for beach days, shopping trips, student books or a laptop. A zipped top keeps everything secure, with an internal zipped pocket for your phone, purse or keys.

Just to say I bought one of these years ago, (and I mean years ago, more than 10) and it is still going strong. It has been washed a couple of times in the washing machine because it is my favourite bag for packing the milk at the supermarket, and on occasions it has needed a wash. The bag is wonderful, massively strong to take the weight of the bottles, it has not frayed or punctured or worn, and I love it
